Southwest Power Pool

Dogwood delivers its electric energy into the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) Integrated Marketplace that was successfully launched March 1, 2014. SPP coordinates next-day and realtime generation across the eleven-state region to maximize cost-effectiveness, provide participants with greater access to reserve energy and improve regional balancing of electricity supply and demand.
